Description
A PPPoE interface is a PPP (point-to-point protocol) tunnel over an existing physical Ethernet inter-
face. Its IP address is dynamically assigned.
Properties
Name
Specifies a symbolic name for the interface.
(Identifier)
EthernetInterface
The physical Ethernet interface that connects to the
PPPoE server network.
IP
The host name to store the assigned IP address in.
Network
The network from which traffic should be routed in-
to the tunnel.
DNS1
IP of the primary DNS server. (Optional)
DNS2
IP of the secondary DNS server. (Optional)
Username
Specifies the username to use for this PPPoE tunnel.
Password
The password to use for this PPPoE tunnel.
ServiceName
Specifies the PPPoE server service name used to dis-
tinguish between two or more PPPoE servers at-
tached to the same network. (Optional)
