Troubleshooting (continued)

I inserted the a DVD into the DSM-320RD, but there
is no on screen display.

„

A possible cause for this problem may be that the disc was inserted
upside down or the disc may be dirty, scratched, or cracked. Please
make sure the disc is inserted right side up, and the disc is clean, or
else replace the disc.

The DVD stops playing. The video skips or the sound
is abnormal.

„

A possible cause for this problem may be that the disc is not in good
condition and has cracks or scratches on its surface. Please try to clean
or replace the disc. Another possible cause is that the DSM-320RD is
located too close to an amplifier. If this is the case, please move any
speakers further away from the DSM-320RD.

My remote control isn’t working.

„

Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly.

„

Try removing the batteries and reinserting them without touching any
buttons on the remote control.

„

Replace the batteries with new ones.

The volume and mute buttons on the remote control
don’t work when playing content that was encoded in
5.1 surround.

„

The volume can only be adjusted on your digital stereo receiver.
