Configuration Examples
The following figures give examples of possible configurations. The figures are
examples. They are intended to illustrate the functions of the DSS-24. The
settings displayed on your switch may be different.
Remember that the DSS-24 is an unmanaged switch. The DSS-24 can be
connected to the network with no configuration and it will automatically negotiate
all speed and duplex settings. Changes should only be made for specific reasons.
The first panel you see when logging in is displayed in Figure 10.
The Link Status
is Link Down because no network connections have been made.
