BATTERY BACK-UP CONNECTIONS

E.C.T. -External Connection Terminal

External Receivers and Wall Push Buttons 

- optional/not included

External Receivers or similar devices can be added to the door opener.
Each trigger will operate the door - open/stop/close.

External Receivers
N/O on the receiver is connected to the “BT” connection port on the E.C.T. - External Connection 
Terminal.
Negative/Common/Ground/0V on receiver is connected to the “BM” connection port on the E.C.T.
Power “+” of the receiver is connected to the “+24V” connection port on the E.C.T.

Wall Push Button
N/O of the Wall Push Button is connected to the “BT” connection port on the E.C.T. - External 
Connection Terminal.
Negative/Common/Ground/0V of the Wall Push Button switch is connected to the “BM” connection 
port on the External Connection Terminal.

Leads are provided from the opener to connect a Battery Back-up Pack.
A short cable is supplied with the package for linking the batteries together.
Follow the diagram below to connect the Battery Back-up Pack:

BLUE -

Red -  

Positive

Black - 

Negative

After power failures allow enough time 
(±8 hours) for the batteries to recharge. 
 
Only operate the Door Opener using 
the Battery Back-up system when 
extremely necessary or in emergencies.

Over use of the Battery Back-up System 
will shorten the battery life. 

An External Connection Terminal is found 
at the top of the opener head.

This facilitates with ease installation of 
optional extra accessories without having 
to remove the cover of the opener head.
