Brake Fault
Switch your vehicle off. Find a cool place to let your vehicle rest and reduce
in temperature. The time for the vehicle to cool will vary depending on the
ambient temperature. Once cooled down, restart your vehicle. If the problem
persists, check the brake cables leading from the brake levers. and ensure
they are clean and properly connected. Check the electric brake wire for
damage, wear, cuts. If you see any of those signs, stop riding immediately and
contact customer service. The brake lever and cable may need to replaced.
Throttle Fault
Switch your vehicle off. Find a cool place to let your vehicle rest and reduce
in temperature. The time for the vehicle to cool will vary depending on the
ambient temperature. Once cooled down, restart your vehicle. If the problem
persists, check the throttle wire connector and ensure that it is clean and
properly connected. Check the throttle wire for damage, wear
or cuts. If you see any of those signs, stop riding immediately and contact
customer service. The throttle and wire may need to be replaced.
Controller Fault
Switch your vehicle off. Find a cool place to let your vehicle rest and reduce
in temperature. The time for the vehicle to cool will vary depending on
the ambient temperature. Once cooled down, restart your vehicle - this
process will reload and refresh the controller. Checkyour firmware version
against the latest version of the Driver’s Manual available at
www.d-fly.com/
manuals
. If the Controller Fault icon persists, stop riding immediately and
contact customer service. The controller may need to be replaced. Further

7 TROUBLESHOOT AND FAQS
7.1 TROUBLESHOOT
If there is a technical fault with your Dragonfly, a warning light will be displayed on your
HMI. Should you see one of these lights, please follow the relevant advice below.
Battery Temperature Warning
Switch your vehicle off. Find a cool place to let your vehicle rest and reduce
in temperature. The time for the vehicle to cool will vary depending on the
ambient temperature. Once cool, restart your vehicle. If the problem persists,
remove the battery. Let your battery rest in a well ventilated, cool and dry
location, out of direct sunlight. Once completely cool, re-load your battery into
your vehicle and restart. If the Battery Temperature Warning light remains,
stop driving. Contact customer service for advice. The battery may have
reached the end of its life and require replacement or simply a cable is loose
and will require a service.
Battery Fault

persists, remove the battery and replace it once again to ensure it’s not a
simple connection error. It’s important that the battery blade connections are
clean and the battery snaps firmly into place. When the battery is replaced,
the front like will flash once and you will hear the activation sound. If this
does not occur check the battery charge levels. The battery may need to
be recharged. If the Battery Fault sign continues to appear, stop driving
immediately. Contact customer service for advice. The battery may have
reached the end of its life and require replacement or simply a cable is loose
and will require a service.
Motor Fault
Switch your vehicle off. Find a cool place to let your vehicle rest and reduce
in temperature. The time for the vehicle to cool will vary depending on the
ambient temperature. Once cooled down, restart your vehicle. If the problem
persists, check the motor cable connector and ensure that it is clean and
properly connected. Check the motor cable for damage, wear or cuts. If you
see any of those signs, stop riding immediately and contact customer service.
The motor or connector may need to be replaced.
