5. Check the motor voltage.
Plug the treadmill back in and turn it to the on (I) position. A.
Enter B. Test Mode.
Without standing on the belt, Bring the speed of the treadmill up to maximum speed, C.
12.4 mph (20 kph).
Using a voltage meter, contact the meter’s red lead to the connector of the motor’s red lead and the D.
meter’s black lead to the motor’s black lead on the lower board.
Note the reading on the voltage meter then carefully remove both leads. Call Cybex Customer E.
Service to fi nd out if the reading is within an acceptable range.
Exit F. Test Mode by pressing Stop .
6. Attach the motor cover.
Lower the motor cover center into position. See Figure 2. A.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, tighten the three screws on each side. B.
Speed Sensor Adjustment
Tools Required
Phillips screwdriver •
1/4” Socket wrench •
7/16” Open end wrench •
! WARNING: Disconnect the power cord before beginning this procedure.
1. Disconnect the external power source.
Turn the main power switch on the left side to the off (O) position. A.
Unplug the treadmill from the power outlet. B.
2. Remove the motor cover.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen three screws on each motor cover side (left and right). A.
Lift the motor cover center up and off the treadmill. B. NOTE: The screws will stay in place.
3. Visually inspect the drive motor fan.
Turn the fl ywheel slowly and look for dirt or damage to the drive motor fan. A.
NOTE: If the drive motor fan or speed sensor is dusty use a soft dry cloth to wipe off the dust.
Using a 1/4” Socket wrench, tighten the mounting screw that attaches the drive motor fan to the A.
drive motor shaft. See Figure 3.
4. Visually inspect the speed sensor.
Inspect the speed sensor and look for dirt or damage to the speed sensor or speed sensor A.
mounting bracket. NOTE: If the speed sensor is dusty use a soft dry cloth to wipe off the dust.
