install or use this child restraint
until you have read and understand the
instructions in this manual, the labels on
your child restraint and in your vehicle
Owner’s Manual. If there is a conflict
between the two, the vehicle Owner’s
Manual must be followed. Failure to follow
these instructions can result in death or

DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur.
!
•
The primary protection
for occupants of a
vehicle in a collision is the structure of the
vehicle itself. Correctly used, this child restraint
will substantially improve the chances for
survival in most crashes.
•
ALWAYS
check buckles and other parts for hot
surfaces before placing your child in the child
restraint. A hot surface could burn your child!
Cover an unoccupied child restraint with a
blanket when leaving it in a vehicle exposed to
sunlight.
•
NEVER
leave an empty child restraint
unsecured in your vehicle. This restraint must
always be secured, even when not occupied.
An unsecured child restraint could injure vehicle
occupants in a sudden stop or crash.
•
DO
NOT
attempt to make repairs to or
otherwise modify or tamper with this child
restraint.
