6.3. Answerback
security
This security mode is controlled by the answering modem, and depends on a password
exchange which authorizes a modem connection, i.e.:

If the answerback matches the one stored in memory within two seconds after an ENQ code
was sent by the answering modem, access is granted.
Otherwise the modem disconnects automatically.
To store the answerback code, see the following example. The password can be up to 12
characters long.
Store answerback (for example: AC24Y)

6.4.1. Automatic
callback
This security mode is controlled by the
answering modem.
It sends a password and then calls back
the telephone number associated with that
password.
