GETTING STARTED
Select your brush head
Attach the brush head, moisten with water, add tooth-
paste. To start and switch off: press the button briefly.
Press and hold the button to switch between modes:
start, clean or smile.

EXTRA LONG LIFE
• Charge the Hydrosonic «Black Is White» completely
before first use.
• Optimal battery charging time: 10 hours.
• Charging: place the Hydrosonic «Black Is White» into
the charger and connect it to the mains. To do this, plug
the charger’s USB connector into the USB adapter and
plug this into the mains. You can also charge the device
using the USB port on your laptop or computer.
• Check the charge status: remove the Hydrosonic
«Black Is White» from the charger or switch it off.
• Fully charged: all LEDs are lit.
Clean without applying pressure: the bristles do the
work; simply hold the brush against each tooth for two to
three seconds without applying pressure.
After brushing your teeth: rinse and remove the brush
head. Or simply leave it on. Caution: do not bend.
THE MODES: START,
CLEAN, SMILE
When you switch on the Hydrosonic, it will start on the
last selected mode.
• The bottom LED is lit up: «start» mode stimulates
circulation in the gums, with 22,000 brush strokes per
minute. This mode will also help you get used to the
slight tingling caused by a sonic toothbrush.
• The middle LED is lit up: «clean» mode with 32,000
brush strokes per minute optimally removes plaque
and bacteria.
• The top LED is lit up: «smile» mode is recommended
to clean particularly sensitive teeth and gums,
with 42,000 brush strokes per minute.
Every mode provides excellent dental cleaning –
the «clean» and «smile» modes provide hydrodynamic as
well as mechanical cleaning.

• Half charged: the two bottom LEDs are lit.
• Charged below 20 %: the lowest LED lights up red
instead of pink.
• When fully charged, the battery lasts a good 60
minutes, which equates to approximately two weeks of
brushing for four minutes each day.

TIP:
For extra long life: do not charge the device until
the battery status falls below 20 % (the bottom LED
lights up red instead of pink).

NOTE:
The cleaning performance is not affected by
the charge level. The Hydrosonic «Black Is White»
cleans just as well when the battery is low as when it
is fully charged.

CAUTION:
To clean the device, wipe the handset and
charger clean with a damp cloth. Never clean the device
with running water.
