Problems and
Solutions
Problem
Possible Causes
Solution
The frying pan
does not work
1. The product’s plug
is not properly inserted
into a power socket.
2. You have failed to set
the timer.
1. Insert the plug into an earthed/
grounded power socket.
2.Turn the timer knob to set the correct
time for cooking, then turn on the power.
Food ingredients
cooked in the
frying pan are not
sufficiently cooked
1. Too much food in the
frying basket.
2. The heating
temperature selected is
too low.
3. The cooking time is
too short.
1. Put the food ingredients into the
frying basket in small batches. Cooking
in small batches, the frying effect will be
more evenly distributed.
2. Turn the temperature control knob to
set the required temperature (refer to
“Settings” in the “Operation” section).
3.Turn the timer knob to specify a
cooking time (refer to “Settings” in the
“Operation” section).
Food items are not
cooking evenly in
the frying pan
Some food ingredients
should be turned during
the cooking process.
If some of your food items are staying
on top, or sticking to one another (e.g.
fried chips), they must be turned during
the cooking process (refer to “Settings”
in the “Operation” section).
Reheating items
are not crisp when
they come out of
the frying pan.
The items you are
reheating are usually
cooked in a traditional
fryer.
You can choose to reheat the items in an
oven, or you can add some oil to increase
their crispiness.
White smoke
coming out of the
product
1. You are cooking food
ingredients with a high
oil content.
2. Waste oil from the
last use remains in the
frying pan.
1. When you are cooking food items that
have a comparatively high oil content in
the fat-free fryer, large amounts of oil will
drip into the frying pan and may become
very hot. This will not affect the final
cooking results.
2. Be sure to clean the frying pan after
each use.
Fresh potato chips
do not get a crispy
finish
Crispiness is
determined by oil and
moisture content.
Use fresh potatoes.
Cut the potato chips small.
Soak the potato chips before starting to
fry them.
Add a small amount of oil to the potato
chips, but make sure you drain them
thoroughly before frying them.
Make sure that the potato chips do not
break up during the frying process.
