Almond-Cocoa Protein Shake
A great way to treat yourself, and your body, after a hard workout is with a protein-rich
shake. This one contains only a few ingredients, with just a hint of sweetness.
Makes 1 serving

ice cubes

tablespoon (15 ml) almond butter

cup (250 ml) almond milk

teaspoons (7 ml) agave nectar (optional)

tablespoon (15 ml) cocoa powder
1. Put all of the ingredients, in the order listed, into the travel cup. Secure blade
assembly.
2. Run on High until smooth, about 1 minute.
3. Serve immediately.

3 to 4 fresh mint leaves

cups (250 ml) fresh pineapple, cut into 1-inch pieces

1. Put all of the ingredients, in the order listed, into the travel cup. Secure blade

2. Run on High until smooth, about 30 seconds.
3. Serve over ice, or let sit for 10 minutes and then strain to achieve a thin juice.
