Installation
Gas / electrical connections
Gas connection
Connection of the gas distribution
system to gas manifold must be
performed by a technician.
Pipe section must be calculated so that
load loss does not exceed 5% of
distribution pressure.
External filter must be
horizontally
mounted on valve with a
clean
tube and
the cover placed in a
vertical
position to
guarantee maintenance.
Any other assembly is forbidden.
The quarter-turn hand-operated valve
(not supplied) must be mounted
upstream and as close as possible to the
filter.
Threaded fittings used must comply with
current standards (tapered external
thread, parallel internal thread) and all
threads rendered leak-proof.
Allow enough space for access to set
the gas pressure switch.
Pipes must be drained upstream of the
quarter-turn hand-operated valve.
Connections performed in situ must be
leak-tested using foam designed for this
purpose.
No leak should be found.
Electrical connection
Electrical fittings and connections must
meet required standards.
Earth must be connected and tested.
See electrical diagram in order to
connect burner and regulator.
On delivery, the burner must be
powered with 230V-50Hz single-phase
with earthed neutral wire.
Gas manifold.
• Connect electrical plate standby points
on valve.
Electrical connection
The electrical characteristics such as
voltage, frequency, power, are
mentioned on the identification plate.
Minimum conductor section: 1.5mm²
Delayed-action minimum protection
device: 6.3A
Refer to the wiring diagrams for the
electrical connections (diagram
enclosed with the burner and diagram
screen printed on socket 7P and 4P for
the regulating thermostat.
The gas manifold is connected through
prewired connectors.
• Secure the cables using the clamps
supplied.
Optional :
External connection:
- of an alarm between S3 and N.
- of one (or more) hour meter between
B4 and N to totalise the operating
hours, and between B5 and N to count
the operating hours at nominal flow
stage.
