Important
All measurements are to be performed
using precision pressure gauges.
Diaphragm 103.1/D
Purpose
The diaphragm and controller work
together. From a pre-set pressure set
by the controller, the metal diaphragm
produces a variable loss of head, by
acting on the screw
D
, which in turn
affects downstream pressure on
119 pBr
. This is the only means of
adjusting the burner.
Setting
Screw
D
operates the diaphragm and
sets the burner head pressure
119pBr
,
thus the output.
·
Use a 2.5mm Allen key to make
adjustments.The screw has a travel
of thirty turns, among which the first
eight have no influence from the
stop (
—
) upwards.
To increase flow:
·
Turn screw
D
counterclockwise (+)
(left-handed pitch) and vice versa.
·
Check for leaks on
119
and
119 pBr
.
Controller 104/C
Purpose
This device sets the pressure admitted
into the diaphragm.
The factory setting is suitable for the
widest possible range of applications.
Nevertheless, should the setting be
occasionally lost, follow the procedure
described below:
Setting
·
Turn screw
D
(left-hand pitch) fully
counterclockwise (
+
), to open
completely the diaphragm and this
way to bypass the device.
·
Remove the cap from the screw
C
.
Use a 2.5mm Allen key. The screw has
a travel of 40 turns. Restore at point
119 pBr
the factory setting of 70daPa.
To increase pressure:
·
Turn screw
C
clockwise (
+
) and vice
versa.
Each turn alters the pressure value
by approximately 13daPa.
·
Then adjust the diagram
103.1/D
according to the required output
power (see table).
·
Check for leaks on
119
and
119 pBr
.

Gas pressure switch F4
Purpose
This device controls the minimum
distribution pressure (see table).
This step is performed after setting the
required power rating.
Adjustment
·
Remove the cover.
To increase factory-set pressure:
·
Turn screw
E
clockwise (
+
) and vice
versa.
Each turn alters the pressure value
by approximately 40daPa.
Allow for the differential (15 to
25daPa).
