Setting the PRESET timer
Caution
•
If the current clock setting is incorrect, the PRESET timer will not be accurate.
•
Check to see if the clock setting is correct. For more information on how to set the current time, refer to p.16.

Set the lid lock to the Lock position under the standby mode and press the [PRESET] button.
Make sure that the clean cover is attached properly before closing the lid. If the clean cover is not attached,
the product does not recognize the lid lock and its PRESET timer function won't work.

Turn the dial to set the preset time.
•
The preset timer setting is the time when you want the
cooking to be finished.
•
After preset cooking is completed, the preset time will be
kept saved in the memory.
•
Clockwise: Increments by 10 minutes.
•
Counterclockwise: Decrements by 10 minutes.
When setting the time, check a.m. and p.m.

To change among the menu options, press the [SET] button and turn the dial to select.
•
Press the [SET] button again to return to PRESET timer setting mode.
•
The last preset time is kept saved even after cooking is completed.

Press the [COOK/OK] or [PRESET] button.
•
When you initiate the cooking preset function, the PRESET time is displayed and the [COOK/OK] and
[PRESET] buttons are lit.
•
When the preset cooking is started, the cooker will display the preset cooking end time.
•
The cooking may finish before the preset time.
In the PRESET mode, the actual completion time may differ by up to about 30 minutes, depending on
the amount of rice being cooked and the selected cooking mode.
(For instance, the current time is 8 PM and you wish to have
the rice ready by 8 AM in the PLAIN option.)
