Opening the Camper
•
After unhitching from the tow vehicle and positioning the camper trailer, set the
Explorer
parallel
with ground (this can be done simply by marking the front of the trailer roof against yourself and
then levelling the rear of the trailer roof using the jockey wheel, to the same height on your body).
•
Release red handle to a vertical position wind down leg. Lock back into place. Using winder
supplied, wind down each leg until they are in firm contact with the ground.
Pull Red Handle outwards to release leg then use winder to wind down to ground
•
Starting from the rear of the trailer body and working towards the front, open the lock down latches
which will release the roof/hard floor from the main trailer body, releasing the front two (2) latches
last.
Open the Lock down latches starting with the rear of the camper first
•
Lift the winch strap from behind the roller bracket, then commence unwinding the winch strap and
continue until the white “stop” mark appears.
Lift the winch strap from behind the roller
Unwind the winch strap until it says STOP
