is ideally suited for programs like Byte
by Bytes’ Sculpt and Animate 4D, Aegis’ Draw 2000, Taurus’ X-CAD and
I m p u l s e Tu r b o - S i l v e r. T h e s e p r o g r a m s h a v e b e e n w r i t t e n t o d i r e c t l y
access the MC68030 and MC68881 or MC68882 and in many cases will not
run with the standard Amiga MC68000 micro-processor.
The
Mega-Midget Racer
replaces the Amiga’s MC68000 processor with a
p l u g - i n M C 6 8 0 3 0 d a u g h t e r b o a r d t h a t i n c l u d e s a f l o a t i n g - p o i n t c o -
processor socket, sockets for 512K bytes of 32-bit SRAM, a socket for the
MC68000 assuring software compatibility, and a 32-bit expansion bus. The
co-processor socket supports an MC68881 or MC68882 at speeds up to 50
MHz.
