Note that the words

of the board) go toward the front of the A500 motherboard. The large chip
( M C 6 8 0 3 0 ) w i l l b e o n t h e r i g h t s i d e a n d f a r t h e s t f r o m t h e A m i g a
expansion port.

Before re-assembling the A500, plug in all the connectors and the keyboard and
power up the unit with the Mega-Midget Racer installed and the electrostatic shield
still removed to make sure that the system is operational.
m. Turn off power and disconnect all cables and keyboard. Carefully replace the
electrostatic shield and fasten with the four Torq screws and bend down the four
electrostatic shield tabs.
n. Position the keyboard and plug the keyboard pug into the A500 motherboard.
o. Carefully turn the Amiga over and replace the six Torq screws removed from the
bottom in paragraph c. above.
p. Install the external memory module (if utilized).
q. Install all cables in the A500 and turn power on.
r. The
Mega-Midget Racer
should operate exactly as an unmodified Amiga 500 except
for greatly increased performance.
