MAINTENANCE
Transmission (Gearcase)
Oil Check
The fill plug is located on the rear of the gearcase. Access the
Rear Gearcase
fill plug through the right rear wheel well. Maintain the oil
level at the bottom of the fill plug hole.
1. Position the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Remove the fill plug.
3. Check the oil level.
4. Add the recommended oil as needed.
5. Reinstall the fill plug.
Oil Change
The drain plug is located on the bottom of the gearcase.
1. Remove the fill plug.
2. Place a drain pan under the drain plug.
Front Gearcase
3. Remove the drain plug. Allow the oil to drain completely.
4. Clean the drain plug.
5. Reinstall the drain plug with a new o-ring.
6. Add
SAE 80W/90 GL-5
of the recommended
oil to the fill hole. Maintain the oil level at the
bottom of the fill plug hole. Do not overfill.
7. Reinstall the fill plug.
8. Check for leaks.
9. Discard used oil properly.
