Rated power
:
The power of an electric consumer that it can consume, which is specified by the manufacturer, is
called as rated power.
Effective power
:
The actually used energy per time of an electric consumer during operation is called as the effec-
tive power.
Starting power: The power consumption of an electric consumer that often increases during the switch on or start
phase is called the starting power.
Connection for feeding electrical power into existing networks shall only be implemented by
specialist personnel and after prior approval by the energy supply company.
The substitute generator is suitable for feeding electrical power into an existing distribution
network only in case of failure of general power supply. Measures must be taken so that inter-
connection is safely prevented after a recovery from power failure.
