Dismantling Sanding Arm
1. Set the control for belt tensioning
(5) in the forward position.
2. Remove the belt tensioning screw (6).
3. Remove the spring (11).
Installing Sanding Arm
1. Install the spring (11).
2. Install the sanding arm (4).
3. Install the belt tensioning screw (6)
and tighten until the sanding arm is
aligned with the machine.
Installing Sanding Belt
1. Set the control for belt tensioning
(5) in the forward position.
2. Remove the old belt.
3. Install the new belt (12) as illustrated.
Place the belt over the rollers (13) and
(14), and in the groove in the housing.
4. Set the control for bell tensioning (5) in
the rear position.
Adjustment of Tracking
Start the machine and turn the knob (6) until the belt (12) is straight.
Dust Bag
WARNING
Never use the dust bag when sanding metal. Fire hazard.
Installing:
Close the clamp on the bag and push the bag onto the
machine until it snaps into position, then release the clamp.
Dismantling:
Close the clamp on the bag and pull the bag off the machine.
Release the clamp and empty the bag.
