OPERATION
Starting and Adjusting
Release the trigger lock (2) and press the trigger (1)
to start the machine.
Set the speed to suit the sanding work. A basic rule is to use
a low speed when sanding with a fine grain size and when
sanding on hard materials. Operate at higher speeds when
using coarse belts and for deeper sanding.
Angle Arm
Use the angle arm when sanding objects as
illustrated here.
Straight Arm
Use the straight arm when sanding straight
objects as illustrated here.
Narrow Arm
Use the narrow arm when sanding finer pieces.
Advice When Sanding
Always hold the machine with both hands.
• Do not press too hard.
• Check the sanding belt regularly and replace if necessary.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
• The machine must never be connected to an electrical outlet when performing maintenance.
Brushes
The brushes must be checked regularly. Considerable spark
formation occurs when these become worn. This rapidly wears
the collector and reduces the output power.
Cleaning
WARNING!
Wear respiratory protection when blow cleaning.
• The best way to clean the machine is by blow cleaning with compressed air.
• Never clean the machine with chemicals.
• Never insert objects through the openings.
