Locking and
unlocking your
Player
Locking your NOMAD MuVo NX will disable all buttons on the player except
for the Scroller. This feature is useful when you do not want any buttons (for
example,
Pause
) pressed accidentally.
If you press a button while the player is locked, a popup window appears for
you to unlock the player. This popup disappears if you don’t use the Scroller
to make a selection within a few seconds.
To lock your player
1.
Press the Scroller.
2.
Scroll to the
Lock
screen (Figure 4-26).
3.
Press the scroller. A list appears.
4.
Scroll Select
Lock
. The player is locked.
To unlock your player
1.
Press any button. A popup appears (Figure 4-27).
2.
Scroll Select
Unlock
. The player is unlocked.
Formatting
your Player
Your player, by default, is already formatted. reformatting your player,
however, is sometimes necessary.
To format your player
1.
Connect the USB Flash Drive to your computer.
2.
In Windows Explorer, right-click your player, and then click
Format
.
