Recording Model and
Serial Numbers
Your modem has a model number and a serial number. You can find them on the bottom of
your Modem Blaster V.90 External hardware unit. After removing the modem from its
packaging, note down its model and serial numbers for future reference.
Checking System
Requirements
The following are the minimum system requirements:

Available Serial Port

486DX or higher IBM compatible PC
❑
20 MB of free hard disk space
❑
8 MB or higher of system memory (16 MB recommended)
❑
Windows 95/98, Windows NT4.0, Windows 3.1x and DOS
❑
CD-ROM drive for modem and communication software installation
Some supplied software will only
run in Windows 95/98/NT.
Modem Blaster must be connected
to an analog telephone line, also
called a POTS (Plain Old
Telephone Service) line.
