i. Now, switch on your Smart Helmet and the remote control, if applicable.
j. Pair your device with the CRATONI Connect App.
k. The installation of your CRATONI Smart Helmet is now completed.
Information!
After successful initial set-up, you only have to switch on Bluetooth, the location
services (iOS) or the location (Android) of your smartphone for future use. If you switch on the
helmet and the remote control, if applicable, the helmet will be automatically connected.
5.1. GENERAL OPERATION
5.1.1 CHARGING THE BATTERY
Connect your helmet with a power source using the enclosed charging cable [Fig. 6b/8b]. Your
helmet will be switched off during charging and cannot be used.
• During charging, the LED is illuminated in red.
• Once the device is fully charged, the LED lights up in green.
Information!
Do not forget to switch off your helmet after use.
5.1.2 SWITCH-ON
Quickly press the On/Off button [Fig. 6a/8a] of your helmet. As soon as the helmet is ready for
use, a “Power on” resounds (with helmets with Smart Lighting System, these components light
up 3x and the small LED next to the On/Off button is illuminated in green - the helmet is now
ready for use).
To switch the helmet off, press the On/Off button once again. A “Power off” resounds (with
helmets with an LED, the latter goes out).
5.1.3 CRASH SENSOR
The CRATONI Smart Helmets have a crash sensor. It is located in the black box inside the helmet.
If an accident is detected, the black box is activated. As soon as an accident is recorded, your
position will be sent to your emergency contacts by SMS; if necessary, they can now inform the
rescue forces.
