See “Display and control panel” manual for an explanation of the alarms.
COMMAND:
name description
Typical
application
Battery charge inhibition
Disables the recharging of the battery,
keeping the recharge current to a
minimum, independently of the load.
This is done with the contact kept
closed; if reopened, the command is
cancelled.
When there is a generator, this
allows its output power to be used
only to supply the load and not
also to recharge the battery.
Inhibition of synchronization
with backup mains
Disables the use of the by-pass line and
the synchronization of the inverter. In
the event of an overload or fault, the
UPS blocks and the load remains
unpowered.
This is done with the contact kept
closed; if reopened, the command is
cancelled.
To be used when the frequency of
the generator or of the backup
mains is highly unstable and it is
thus preferred to inhibit the
synchronization of the inverter.
Battery disconnector contact
Activates the battery discharging or
disconnected alarm.
To be used to indicate the opening of a
battery switch located external to the
UPS.
A closed contact must be provided
when the external switch is opened.
Displays the status of the battery
disconnector.
