The Nexus Hand features a two-axis thumb designed to enable powered thumb flexion and 

powered thumb rotation. It has two control strategies, latched and dynamic, which the user 

can easily switch between. The thumb also has a rocker switch, spring-loaded to the vertical 

position which can rock +/- 7.5 degrees. This can be mapped to change grips.
