GLOSSARY

Drive shaft 

 

The drive shaft transmits  the power between the jack assemblies 
and the chains connected to the operator unit. 

 

U frame (short) 

 

The  short  U  frames  protect  the  mechanical  parts  that  rest  on  the 
foundation and connect both posts.

 

 

Motor-side 

 

The motor-side protect the chains. 

 

 

Pivot arm

Links the cover to the posts assembly.  

C channel 

 

The C-channel is the outer frame of the cover.  

I beam 

 

The I-beam is the aluminum extrusion installed between the panels.
