Good maintenance is essential for safe, economical and trouble-free operation and a long service-life.

Never service the generator whilst the engine is running. Switch the generator off and let it cool.

* If the generator is in a dusty environment, the filter should be cleaned more often.
Engine oil
If the oil level is too low, the generator shuts off automatically to prevent damage. Check the oil level prior to
every use to ensure that there is enough.
Engine oil gradually loses the lubricating, cooling and cleaning properties it has when it is new and therefore
needs to be changed periodically.
