Do not operate the brushwood / grass trimmer if the trimmer head and the nylon
thread or the triple blade is not attached. Do not use any other accessories.
Assembling the trimmer head
1. Lock the drive shaft, i.e. by inserting an
allen key through the hood (attached
under the gearbox) and the hole on the
drive shaft.
2. Screw on the trimmer head anti-
clockwise.
Assembling the brushwood blade
1. Press the inner flange washer on the
drive shaft with the flat side on the outer
side. Lock the drive axle, i.e. by inserting
an allen key through the hood (attached
under the gearbox) and the hole on the
drive shaft.
2. Assemble the brushwood blade so that
the centre bore of the blade fits the
elevation of the inner flange washer.
3. Hold the blade steady and assemble the
outer flange washer (with the flat side
against the blade).
4. Assemble the toothed plate connector
on the drive shaft.
5. Tighten the nut on the drive shaft with
the enclosed universal wrench (Please
note! The nut tightens to the left). The
nut should be tightened with 30 Nm.
6. Place the enclosed cotter pin in the drive
axle bore and open it to lock in the nut.
7. Check that the blade is centred.
8. Remove the lower black part of the
trimmer protection (where the cutting
wire is assembled). Remember to
replace the lower part of the trimmer
protection when you switch to the
trimmer head.
Warning!
The brushwood blade must be centred on the inner flange washer,
otherwise it can lead to injury or damage on the product.
