6.2.2 - Thermoregulation - Correction with room temperature
Pressing key KM down for 10 seconds, then key K2 (IMP) and finally key K4 (>>) the COMPENS AMB parameter
is displayed immediately. Using keys K+ o K-, it is possible to change the setting.
When the value of the COMPENS AMB parameter differs from 0, the compensation of the room temperature is
active.
The effect of the room temperature compensation is the automatic parallel shift of the curve as per figure 4.
In this way, the parallel translation of the line, which in the previous section was carried out manually, is now made
automatically on the basis of the temperature registered by the remote control in the room.
The shifting of the curve, defined as Delta, is calculated on the basis of the error between the value of the room
temperature requested and that actually read by the remote control.
The Delta is also influenced by the parameter defined as room compensation (COMPENS AMB) which can be
selected from between 0 and 20 (as can be seen from the graph in figure 6).
The rules for the correct setting of the room compensation value (COMPENS AMB) are:
· the compensation of the room temperature makes it possible to put the heating system in steady state much
faster and automatically compensate the imperfect selection of the CURVA EST;
· the higher its value, the quicker the putting of the heating system in steady state is;
· too high a value may cause the system to react too quickly, involving the consequent sudden igniting and
switching off of the boiler;
· generally, a large heating system, which requires a long period before it reaches steady state, requires a higher
room compensation value with respect to a smaller heating system which requires a shorter period before it
reaches steady state;
· the room compensation works correctly only if the CURVA EST has been correctly chosen.
The room compensation is active only if the MODO FUNZ parameter is set at value 3 (see section 6.2.3)
This type of adjustment is advised for all radiant panel type systems where the remote time control can be
installed in an area where the temperature is characteristic of the entire area to be heated.
