WARNING: Do not use the child car seat base when the
support leg pressure indicators are showing red.
WARNING: Do not place the front support leg on a floor
storage compartment lid. The front support leg
MUST
make
full and firm contact with the vehicle floor.
WARNING: Make sure that the support leg does not raise the
base from the surface of the vehicle seat
.
7 - fitting the child car seat to the child car seat base
With the child car seat handle in the carrying position place the child car seat, rearward
facing, on the child car seat base. The sides of the child car seat fit into the slots on
either side of the child car seat base (a & b).
Push down on the child car seat until the two securing rods are engaged (c) and the
child car seat connection indicator has turned from red to green (d).
WARNING:
Do not use the child car seat when the child car
seat connection indicator is showing red.
Lift the car seat slightly to ensure both securing rods are engaged.
8 - removing the child car seat from the child car seat base
Slide the secondary lock release lever (a) and the child car seat release handle (b)
simultaneously then lift the child car seat off the child car seat base (c).
9 - removing the child car seat base from the vehicle seat
Pinch the adjustment buttons (a) on each side of the child car seat base and slide the
connector arms (b&c) back into the child car seat base.
The child car seat base can now be removed from the vehicle seat (c).
The telescopic support leg can be collapsed and folded under the child car seat base for
storage purpose (d).
