MAINTENANCE
BRAKE FLUID (CHECK)
Inspect the brake fluid and change it regularly.
You must also change it if is contaminated by water or dirt.
The brake fluid reservoir is located under the front hood; for access,
remove the cover by loosening the four screws (1).
DANGER
DO NOT SPILL BRAKE FLUID ON PAINTWORK.
DO NOT MIX DIFFERENT TYPES OF BRAKE FLUID. THE
FLUID USED TO FILL OR RENEW YOUR CIRCUIT MUST
RESPOND TO THE SPECIFIED STANDARD IN THE FLUID
RESERVOIR OF EACH CIRCUIT. YOU MUST USE DOT-4.
YOU SHOULD NEVER CHANGE THE SPECIFICATION,
ALWAYS RESPECT THE DOT-4 SPECIFICATION. WHAT IS
IMPORTANT IS NOT THAT THE BRAKE FLUID SHOULD BE
THE SAME BRAND, RATHER THAT IT MUST HAVE THE SAME
SPECIFICATION. NEVER USE FLUID FROM A CONTAINER
THAT IS NOT SEALED (UNOPENED) AT SOURCE. NEVER,
UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, USE BRAKE FLUID FROM
AN UNSEALED CONTAINER NOR, OBVIOUSLY, ALREADY
USED BRAKE FLUID.
WARNING
CHECK THAT THERE IS NO LOSS OF LIQUID
THROUGH THE GASKETS. CHECK FOR POSSIBLE
DAMAGE TO THE BRAKE SLEEVES.
