TROUBLE SHOOTING
Turntable will not turn
Power cord conductor shorting to ground.
• Check wires.
Motor shorted.
• Replace motor.
• Replace motoinverter circuit board.
• Check control pedal micro.
Belt broken.
• Replace belt.
Rotation control pedal fails to
return to central position
Control spring broken.
• Replace command spring.
Bead breaking unit not working
No vertical movement.
• Check for folded hoses.
• Check ascent and descent valve operation.
Bead breaking unit is
underpowered, does not break the
bead and is leaking air
Carry out the checks in the previous point: “Bead
breaking unit not working”.
Cylinder gaskets worn.
• Replace gaskets.
• Replace bead breaker cylinder.
Bead breaker cylinder leaks air
around the rod
Air gaskets worn.
• Replace gaskets.
• Replace bead breaker cylinder.
Gear unit noisy. The turntable makes 1/3 of a spin
and then stops
Gear unit seizing.
• Replace gear unit.
Turntable fails to clamp rims
Handle engagement unit faulty.
• Check it is well phased.
• Replace the turntable plate.
• Check there are no burrs.
• Replace the clamping handle.
Turntable mounts or demounts
wheels with difficulty
Insufficient belt tension.
• Adjust belt tension or replace it.
Vertical head does not raise or does it too far
from rim
Clamping plate not adjusted.
• Register plate.
• Restore calibration.
The vertical head holder arm has
difficulty rising
Defective clamping plate.
• Replace plate.
Clamping plate not adjusted.
• Register plate.
Vertical and horizontal limit stops
do not operate
No air passing through clamping handle/ valve.
• Check hose circuit.
• Replace handle / valve.
Column does not tilt
Column tilting cylinder faulty.
• Replace column opening cylinder.
No air supply to cylinder.
• Tubes folded.
• Replace valve.
• Check tightness of arm pivot.
Clamping arm cylinders leak air
Faulty piston or gaskets.
• Replace pistons and gaskets.
Column tilts violently or too slowly
Incorrect discharge regulator setting.
• Adjust discharge regulators on control valve.
Tyre pressure gauge needle fails to
return to 0
Pressure gauge faulty or damaged.
• Replace pressure gauge.
Wheel lifter not working
Control out of operation.
• Check control pedal.
Rises slowly or has insufficient force.
• Check for folded hoses.
• Adjust delivery on control pedal.
• Replace the valve on the lifter control pedal
