Mounting the tyre
1 • Tyre preparation (fig. 25)
- Grease both the tyre (A) beads.
- Place the tyre on the rim (B)
2 • Head positioning (fig. 25a)
- Operate pedal (13) to move the head into
the working position.
NB: The tool is already in the correct
position for mounting the tyre, unless the
type of rim has been changed.

3 • Lower bead mounting (fig. 26)
- Place the bottom bead of the tyre under-
neath the tool and at the same time apply
a little pressure to the tyre by hand while
starting to rotate the wheel (pedal 15) for
easier bead insertion.
- Rotate until tyre mounting is complete.

4 • Upper bead positioning (fig. 27)
- Position the upper tyre bead.
Take care that the tyre does not slip
underneath the tool.

5 • bring the bead breaking unit closer
6 • Bead breaker disc positioning (fig. 28)
- Lower the bead breaker disc (control 21)
(A) until it is level with the well of the rim
and make enough room for the clamp to
be inserted.
