Power Supply
LU1 contains an integrated power supply (DC/DC converters) on board. It generates all the voltages
needed within different blocks. The input voltage is fed by either of the PIMs (redundancy with
two PIMs). The generated output voltages are galvanically isolated from the battery voltage. LU1
also has polarity protection for input voltages.
2.3.7
Test Features
During boot-up, LU1 performs self tests to verify that the system operational status is nominal.
During normal operation, the CPU monitors the following:
• LU1 operating voltages
• Temperature inside LU1
