Fixing to the
fl
oor
The
fi
xing to the
fl
oor (compulsory) must be done on a level concrete
fl
oor at least
20 cm thick, with a minimum concrete quality of B25 in compliance with DIN 1045
requirements (foundations), by using M10 anchor plug (standard supply) with torque
wrench corresponding a 45 Nm.
(Fig.6)
A
Normal anchoring directly to concrete
B
Additional covering over concrete (if any)
C
Floor slope with levelling shims
In the case of the recessed model, a pit will be required having the following dimen-
sions (ONLY BL 600):
length
2320
width
870
depth
155
Fit an angular pro
fi
le along the edge of the pit (2320X870Xh155).
Controlling the safety devices
Each time the rack is commissioned, make one empty rise and fall and check that it
runs smoothly and the mechanical safety lock engages properly (A
fi
g.8) on its check
latch (B
fi
g.8).
Inspection test
With reference to the directive 98/37, the coef
fi
cients for the under loaded tests are
respectively:
DYNAMIC LOAD 1,1
STATIC LOAD
1,25
Sharing out loads according to Fig.17 for standard lift.
For the test of the version with lateral extension, distribute such loads by referring to
the geometry shown in
fi
g.17a.
Moving the rack
Follow these steps if you have to move the rack:
a) Remove the
fl
oor anchor.
b) Fully lower the lift.
c) Disconnect the lift from all power sources.
d) Lever under one side of the base to slightly raise the lift from the ground
e) Insert the lift truck forks under the base and allow the lift to slide on to the forks
themselves
f) Position the lift in the desired place.
Once the rack has been moved to its new position, follow the installation procedures
described in this chapter.
