5. Using a T27 torx wrench, remove the five
screws holding the mud guard and use a 10mm
socket to remove the two bottom screws
(Figure 4).
6. Remove the two bolts on the turn signal
holding mount, using a 13mm open wrench and
13mm socket wrench (Figure 5).
7. Locate your turn signal connectors and
disconnect (Figure 6).
8. Pull out turn signal and plugs (Figure 7).
9. Repeat on the other side.
10. Starting on the right, remove the four bolts on
the front panel, using a T27 torx wrench
(Figure 8). Pull bottom up and pull out.
11. Remove the rear panel by unbolting the front
screw (Figure 9) and lift up on rear plastic
fasteners, using a flathead screwdriver
(Figure 10).
12, Remove the antenna, using an 8mm socket
wrench (Figure 11).
13. Repeat with the panels on the left.
14. Disconnect the brake light (Figure 12) and pull
off handrails (Figure 13)
15. Remove the four bolts on the turn signal
brackets, using a 10mm socket wrench
(Figure 14).
16. On the left side, remove the front bracket,
using a 13mm socket wrench (Figure 15). You
won’t be reusing these brackets.
NOTE: The picture in Figure 15 is showning from
the right side. You will not be removing the right
hand side bracket.
17. Install the left side bracket by inserting it into
the position of the bracket you just removed.
Next, insert the provided bolts and flat washer
through the top two holes and secure with flat
washer and nylock nut (Figure 16). Do not tighten
yet.
