Tweeter’s level setting
The 3-step tweeter level setting allows to adapt the high frequency emission
to the complete car audio system and to the own taste:
•
0 dB = standard level
• - 3 dB = decrease the high frequency level
• +3 dB = enhance the high frequency level
Set the jumper by listening to the system with a well known music track,
then choose the position offering the best performances in your car.
OAC - Off Axis Correction
The car audio performances depend from the system tuning, since each car passenger
compartment has different sound response. It comes from the speaker’s position and the
reflections given from the materials used on passenger compartment.
The OAC control, by changing the speaker’s response
and phase, adapt their emission to the passenger
compartment obtaining the best frontstaging.
By listening to the system with a well known music
track, try to alternatively change the jumper from
OFF to ON position of left, right or both channel
crossovers, than choose the position in order to
obtain the right sound in your car.
Tweeter phase
Depending on the passenger compartment and mounting location, changing the polarity
of both tweeters can result in improved spatial reproduction; try to invert tweeter’s positive
and negative wires (out of phase), then choose the position offering the best performances
in your car.
