Beginning to sew
1.
Turn the stitch selector dial to the stitch pattern
required (refer to the pattern guide on the pattern
sector dial).
2.
Move the stitch length to the right position (refer to
Stitch length adjustment
).
3.
Turn the hand wheel in the direction of the arrow to
raise the needle to its highest position (Fig.1). Raise
the presser foot, and place the fabric under it.
4.
Lower the presser foot and rotate hand wheel so the
needle goes into the fabric (Fig.2).
5.
This machine can be operated using either the foot
pedal or the ON/OFF switch.
6.
Press the power stitch to "ON", and the machine will
begin sewing immediately (Fig.3). Do not pull the
fabric with force while sewing, it will feed through
automatically. Press the "Speed adjustment" to adjust
the sewing speed.
7.
The machine can also be operated with foot control
(Fig. 4). Simply press down the foot pedal, the
machine will begin sewing; remove your foot and the
machine will stop sewing. (
Please note:
when using
foot pedal, make sure the power stitch is "OFF", do
not use Foot pedal and Power stitch simultaneously).
8.
Switch the power off to stop sewing. Turn the
handwheel with your right hand to raise the needle to
the high position. Raise the presser foot and gently
remove the fabric, and cut the thread leaving about
10cm. Note: when it’s not easy to remove fabric, do
not pull the fabric with force, or the needle will break
or bend. Loosen the upper thread from thread pulling
bar (Fig. 5). Then remove your fabric.
