• Keep power cord away from parts of the

appliance which may still be hot after use.
Allow to cool fully, before putting away or
cleaning.

• For domestic use only.

• To comply with Health & Safety regulations,

all repairs must be undertaken by a qualified
electrician, no user serviceable parts.

• Ensure that grill pan handle is correctly

secured before use.

BEFORE USE:

• Remove all packaging before use.  Take care,

to ensure all protective packaging inside the
grill and in the toaster slot is removed.

• Clean before first use.

• Go through at least 5 toasting cycles without

bread at the highest browning setting.  Allow
to cool between each cycle.

• Heat up grill using both elements together for

at least 10 minutes, without food.

• Your Grill & Toaster is now ready to use.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:

Only plug into a standard UK earthed mains
socket.  

Safety Instructions

• Before use, check thoroughly for any defects

and do NOT use if defects are found.  Take
care not to drop the appliance as heavy
impacts may cause internal damage.

• The Grill & Toaster operates at high

temperature, parts of the appliance may
become very hot during use.  Take care to
avoid burns to skin, especially when  cooking
fatty foods.

• Ensure the Grill & Toaster is only used on

heat-resistant surfaces.

• Do NOT leave the Grill & Toaster unattended

during cooking, as bread in a toaster or fatty
foods under a grill can burn easily or in
extreme cases ignite.

• Do NOT use near wall cupboards, hanging

objects or flammable materials, such as
curtains, to avoid heat damage to other
surfaces.  Also do NOT store or use close to
other heat sources to protect the Grill &
Toaster from heat damage.

•  Always place grill pan of a heat-proof surface

after use.

• Keep away from children.

• If toast becomes stuck in the toaster do NOT

attempt to remove with any sharp or metal
objects or your fingers as the toasting
elements carry live current. Unplug at mains
before removing stuck slice of toast.

• Always ensure the Grill & Toaster is switched

OFF and unplugged after use, when cleaning
or if a fault develops.  When unplugging,
never pull on the cable.

TOASTER

• Use the adjustable browning control feature

to toast to your personal preference, from 1
(light) to 5 (dark).

• Use lever to lower bread into toaster, and

allow to brown.  Toaster will turn off and pop
the toast up when toasted.  Push the lever up
at any time to finish toasting.  Lever only
remains in the down position when the Grill
& Toaster is plugged in and switched on.

• Allow toaster to cool for up to 90 seconds

between uses.

• Do NOT cover the toaster whilst in use or

before the toaster has fully cooled.

GRILL

• Attach handle to grill pan with angled clips

on handle facing downwards, and remove
pan from grill before pre-heating grill.   Both
elements can be used together or individually.

• If using both elements together, lightly oil the

surface of the grill pan.

• Switch on upper and/or lower elements to

pre-heat the grill pan.

• Ensure that the grill pan handle is removed

during cooking.

• Do NOT use metal utensils or cutlery to move,

serve or turn food when using the non-stick
grill pan as this will damage the non-stick
coating.

• Always switch off the grill after use. 

CLEANING:

• Do NOT clean with water or immerse in water

due to risk of electric shock.

• Do NOT use abrasives or powerful cleaning

solutions.

• Wipe with a soft damp cloth.

• To remove toast crumbs, turn upside down

and shake gently, ensuring the grill pan is
removed first.

• Clean non-stick grill pan with mild household

cleaner.

PACKAGING

• Dispose of packaging at your local recycling

centre.

• Dispose of paper and card separately from

plastic bags at your local recycling centre.

• Dispose of the appliance at the end of its

lifespan at your local authorised household
waste recycling centre.
