Troubleshooting
In case the USBy device has WiFi connection problems with your Router / Modem, you can
perform the following WiFi Reset procedure
1.
Turn off USBy for about 10 second
2.
Switch your Router / Modem off
3.
Turn on USBy by preferably connecting it to the USB port of your Router/Modem or to
the electrical outlet using an adapter (e.g. adapter used to charge mobile phones) near
the Router / Modem (ca. 1-3m)
4.
Open the list of WiFi networks and select the network created by USBy (e.g. USBy-
V3_XXXXXX)
5.
Open your Web Browser and enter the following URL
192.168.4.1/reset.html
At this point you will see the following graphic interface informing you that the device has
been reset.
At this point you will need to:
- Disconnect the USBy device from the power outlet
- Switch your Router / Modem on again
- Connect the USBy device to the power socket
- Repeat the procedure for connecting USBy to your new Router / Modem (section 2.1.1)

After connecting to the network created by USBy, it is normal for the WiFi networks icon
to show that there is no Internet access (sometimes highlighted with the "!" symbol). In
fact, you are currently connected to the local network created by USBy which, not yet
connected to your Router / Modem, cannot access the Internet.

Before being connected to the Router/modem (see section 2.1.1), the network created by
