Treatment Using Standard Built-In Modes
Follow the steps in Table 7 to select the correct treatment mode, amplitude and to begin
treatment.

Turn on the CS6103 by pressing the
button. After the initial "splash"
screen, the LCD will display:

parameter. The selected parameter will blink.

to change to the correct

as prescribed.

parameters will blink when selected.

to change the parameter as prescribed.

parameter. The selected parameter will blink.

to increase the
output intensity (amplitude) of the
electrodes until
the level prescribed by your health care professional is reached.
The displayed numbers represent tenths of a volt e.g. 000 = 0V, 100 =
10.0V, 155 = 15.5V etc.
Once the treatment starts, if the stimulation is uncomfortable for any
reason, press
–
to reduce the intensity. This may reduce the
effectiveness of the muscle stimulation when using
Stm
mode. Please
discuss this situation with the treating physician or therapist.
If no stimulation is felt, please refer to
Troubleshooting the CS6103
on page 33. Treatment will not begin until the
Amp
value is set greater
than zero.
As a safety precaution, the
Amp
parameter is reset to zero whenever the
Mode
is changed.

Treatment automatically begins approximately 10 seconds after pressing
last keypad button.

If the stimulation is uncomfortable for any reason, press
