Table 8 describes the keypad functions while receiving treatment.
Button Meaning
Pressing this button pauses the treatment. It does not affect the total time
of the treatment since the treatment timer does not count down while in
pause mode. The patient can resume treatment by pressing any of the
other buttons. Pressing this button while in pause mode turns the unit off.
Pressing this button while in pause mode resumes treatment.
Decreases the amplitude. If the amplitude is decreased to zero treatment
is paused. Increasing the amplitude will resume treatment. Decreasing
the amplitude while using
Stm
mode may reduce the effectiveness of
muscle stimulation. Please discuss this situation with the treating
physician.
Pressing this button while in pause mode resumes treatment.
Increases the amplitude. Set the intensity to the appropriate level. If the
stimulation is uncomfortable for any reason, the intensity can be turned
down.
