safety screen removal and installation
A barrier designed to reduce the risk of burns from the hot viewing glass is provided with the
appliance and must be installed.
Before the glass door can be removed, the faceplate and safety screen must be removed. Lift the faceplate up
and off the appliance door and remove from the appliance.

Remove the top clips and set aside.

Remove the safety screen from the safety
screen frame by sliding it up and out.

Remove the two screws from the top
brackets of the safety screen frame.

Lift the safety screen frame up and away
from door frame.
REMOVAL:
INSTALLATION:

Install the safety screen frame into the
bottom brackets of the door frame and
secure the top brackets with the 2 screws
into the top brackets of the door frame.

Slide the safety screen into the safety screen
frame.

Install the top clips.

Ensure the safety screen is installed correctly
before using the appliance.

WARNING
•
Glass may be hot. Do not touch glass until cooled.
•
If equipped with door latches that are part of a safety system, they must be properly engaged. Do not
operate the appliance with latches disengaged.
•
Facing and/or fi nishing materials must not interfere with air fl ow through air openings, louvre openings,
operation of louvres, or doors/access for service. Observe all clearances when applying combustible
materials.
•
Before door is removed, turn the appliance off and wait until appliance is cool to the touch. Doors are heavy
and fragile so handle with care.
