7. Plant protection headband ( fig I1, I2)
lift the plant protection arch and edges and place it in the
lowered position during mowing, as shown in figure I. Before
mowing or trimming, make sure the plant protection arch is
securely locked.
8. Switching on and off (Fig. J)

Press the lock-off button (1) and squeeze the ON/OFF
switch to start the trimmer.

To switch the appliance off, release the on/off switch.
CAUTION! After switching
off, the nylon line will
continue to rotate for a few
more seconds.
OPERATION
Warning: remove the battery
pack from the trimmers
before handling setting.
If the line is too long
when you use the
equipment for the first
time, the surplus end of it
will be cut by the blade on
the guard hood.
Warning:
Always wear safety glasses. Never lean over
the cutting head.
Stones or debris can bounce or be thrown into eyes and
face and blind you or serious injury. To use the machine,
note the following points: Put on heavy clothing and eye
protection. Hold the front handle with one hand and the
auxiliary handle with the other hand. Store unit below the
waist level. Have the unit from right to the left so that
residues are always projected on the side opposite you.
While avoiding bending over, keep the section parallel to
the ground wire (or perpendicular to trim edges) and
prepared the material to be cut (but not touching).
Warning: Before starting
work, make sure that the wire
is long enough. Do
not start work before the
engine running at full speed.
Mowing

Never use the edger without its safety devices.
▪
Do not cut the grass when it is wet. The best results are
obtained on dry grass.
▪
Do not approach the grass trimmer before the switch is
pressed, wait until the grass trimmer is on.
▪
For a suitable cut, swing the trimmer from side to side
while walking, holding it at an angle of about 30 °.
▪
Make several passes to gradually cut tall grass from the
top.
▪
Use the side guide and the protector hook to avoid
unnecessary wear on the line.
▪
Keep the edge cutter away from hard objects to avoid
unnecessary wear on the line.
