B) LC display and settings
If the signal of the outside area is successfully received, then this symbol is displayed
(if reception is unsuccessful, the symbol is not visible). Thus it can be seen whether
the last reception attempt was successful (ON symbol) or unsuccessful (OFF symbol).
A reception currently taking place is indicated by rapid flashing of the symbol.
In order to be more distinguishable, the LC display is divided into four sections (from top to bottom)
by means of horizontal bars.
Section 1 - Time setting
Time display (set manually).
Section 2 - Room temperature
Display of room temperature.
Section 3 - Weather girl symbol
Display of current temperature conditions in the form of five weather symbols (represented
by a „weather girl“) that change their appearance depending on the current outside
temperature.
Section 4 - Current outside temperature and daily minimum and maximum
outside temperature
Display of current outside temperature.
Display of daily minimum and maximum outside temperature of the currently selected
channel.

7. Operation
A) Basic setting
The receiver can receive up to three transmitters. However, only one is included in the delivery
of this product.
Use of an outside transmitter
First, insert the batteries into the outside temperature transmitter (see „Installation and
replacement of batteries in the outside temperature transmitter“).
Insert the batteries into the weather station at the latest within 0 seconds (see „Installation
and replacement of batteries in the weather station“). Once the batteries are inserted, all
display elements of the LC display then become visible briefly. Subsequently the time is
displayed as 0:00 and the weather girl symbol is displayed. If there is no display within
60 seconds, then remove the batteries and insert them again after a period of at least 10
seconds.
After insertion of the batteries, the weather station begins to receive data from the outside
transmitter. The temperature of the outside area and the signal reception symbol should
now be displayed on the weather station. If this does not happen within minutes, then all
batteries have to be removed and a new basic setting from Step 1 has to be undertaken.
To ensure a sufficient 868 MHz signal transmission, it is necessary to maintain a distance
of no more than 100 meters under good conditions between the final installation locations
of the weather station and the outside transmitter (see note under „Placement“ and „868
MHz reception“).
Using more than one outside transmitter
If the original basic setting was undertaken with only one outside transmitter, then the user
should remove all batteries from the weather station and wait at least 60 seconds.
Then insert the batteries into the first outside transmitter.
Within 0 seconds after activation of the first outside transmitter, insert the batteries into
the weather station. Once the batteries are inserted, all display elements of the LC display
become visible briefly. Subsequently the time is displayed as 0:00 and the weather girl
symbol is displayed. If there is no display within 60 seconds on the LC, then remove the
batteries and insert them again after a period of at least 60 seconds.
The temperature of the first outside transmitter (Channel 1) should now be displayed on the
weather station. In addition, the signal reception symbol should be displayed. If this does not
happen within minutes, then all batteries have to be removed from both units and a new
basic setting from Step 1 has to be undertaken.
After the temperature data from the first outside transmitter is displayed on the weather
station, insert the batteries into the second outside transmitter.
The batteries should be inserted into the second transmitter at the latest within
10 seconds after reception of outside area data from the first transmitter.
