• Any maintenance or repair work may only be performed only an expert.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer’s
Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Facilities are
to be observed.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions,
please contact our technical department or another specialist.
b) Operation
• The product is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children.
• The product may be installed and used only in dry indoor spaces; it must not get
damp or wet.
• The product should not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, in-
tense vibrations or heavy mechanical stress. Protect it against dust and dirt.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold room into
a warm one. The condensation that forms can ruin the product under certain cir-
cumstances.
Allow the product to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power
supply and putting it to use. This may potentially take several hours.
• Prevent the following adverse conditions at the location of installation and during
transport:
- Dust or flammable gases, fumes or solvents
- Strong vibrations, impacts or blows
- Strong magnetic fields such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or loud-
speakers
• Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the device is visibly damaged
- the device no longer works
- the device has been stored under adverse conditions for a long time
- It was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental

too. In this case, fluids can leak out that can burn the skin upon contact. There-
fore, use suitable protective gloves.
• Liquids leaking from rechargeable batteries are very chemically aggressive. Ob-
jects or surfaces coming into contact with these liquids can suffer considerable
damage.
Switching on/off
Attention, important!
Before you switch on the signal generator, you must connect a suitable 50 Ohm
antenna to the signal output or connect the signal output to a corresponding 50 Ohm
input of a suitable device.
If the signal generator is switched on when there is no 50 Ohm termination, the
electronics can be damaged and the warranty will be null and void!
