The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe

these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any resulting
damage!

We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such
cases, the warranty will be null and void.

fi

cation of the product is not permitted for

safety and approval reasons (CE). Never dismantle the product.

•   The product is not a toy. Devices operated using mains voltage must be kept out of the

reach of children. Therefore, be especially careful when children are around.

Use the product where it is out of the reach of children.

•  The product is intended for use only in dry, indoor locations. No part of the product

should become damp or wet; never handle it if your hands are wet!

Wall plug transformers have the potential to cause a fatal electric shock!

•  The design of the wall plug transformer complies with Protection Class II. Use only a

standard mains socket as the power source for the wall plug transformer.

The mains socket into which the wall plug transformer is plugged must be easily acces-

sible.

•   Do not pull the wall plug transformer from the mains socket by pulling on the cable. Hold

it on the sides of the casing and pull it out of the mains socket.

•   If the wall plug transformer is damaged, do not touch it; there is life hazard from electric

shock!

First, switch off the mains voltage to the socket to which the wall plug transformer is

connected (switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse or
switch off at the corresponding RCD protective switch, so that the socket is fully discon-
nected).

You can then unplug the wall plug transformer from the mains socket. Dispose of the

faulty wall plug transformer in an environmentally friendly way, do not use it any more.
Replace it with a wall plug transformer of the same design.

•  Do not leave the packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a

dangerous plaything for children.

•   Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental falls,

even from a low height.

Connection and Getting Started

•   If desired, insert an SD/SDHC memory card into the corresponding slot of the Mini PC box. Videos,

music or images on the card can be displayed or played back later.

•   Connect the HDMI output of the Mini PC box with the provided HDMI cable to a free HDMI input of

your monitor or television.

Furthermore, an optical TOSLINK output, a headphone and microphone connection (each a

3.5 mm jack socket) and a 10/100MBit network connection are available.

•   To operate the Mini PC box, you need a USB keyboard and USB mouse. You can use, for example,

a wireless keyboard/mouse for this purpose so that a cable-free operation is made possible.

The Mini PC box itself requires a current of approx. 1 A; using the provided power cable

with an output current of 3 A, there is still enough power available, for example, to operate
an external 6.35 cm/2.5” USB hard drive.

If multiple USB devices with a high power consumption need to be operated, connect a
USB hub with its own power supply to the Mini PC box.

•   Connect the low-voltage round socket of the Mini PC box to the corresponding round plug of the

provided wall plug transformer; then plug the latter into a mains socket.

•   Switch the Mini PC box on by pressing and holding the Power button for approx. 2-3 seconds.

The Mini PC box starts now; this can (as with switching on an Android mobile phone) take several
seconds. Finally, the Start screen appears.

The operation is similar to an Android mobile phone; pay attention to the enclosed (English) opera-

ting instructions from the manufacturer.

To switch it off, press and hold the Power button until a message appears on the screen prompting

you to con

fi

 rm.

If you keep the Power button depressed for more than 8 seconds, the Mini PC box is directly

switched off; however, doing so can in some circumstances (e.g. when a data transfer is in
progress) lead to a loss of data.

•   First select the desired language in the Setup menu; then enter the corresponding data for access

to your network or WLAN. Then you can enter the access data for the Google Play Store account or
create a new access; after that, you are able to download and install apps, just like with an Android
mobile phone.

Maintenance and Care

Prior to cleaning the device, pull the wall plug transformer out of the mains socket.
Use a clean, dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, as these can cause
discolouration. Do not press too strongly on the surface when cleaning, to prevent scratch marks.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.

Disposal

Please dispose of the device when it is no longer of use, according to the current statutory

requirements.
