Operation
The main unit must be connected with a suitable 9 V/DC power adapter (not
included) during operation. 4 pieces 1.5 V/DC batteries type AA (not included)
serve as back-up batteries, in case of a short term mains power failure.
a) Stand-by mode
• Remove the plastic insulator from the back of the remote control
before use.
• After batteries are inserted and the power adapter is plugged, the
main unit is in stand-by mode.
• The unit can be changed to other mode by the remote control.
b) Pre-arm mode
• When the unit is in stand-by mode, press the button (3) to shift to
pre-arm mode. The buzzer (7) will give one beep sound and green
status LED (6) will light up for around 20-30 seconds.
• During pre-arm mode, press the button (3) to return to stand-by
mode.
• The alarm will be armed 20 - 30 seconds later.
c) Arm mode
• After the green status LED (6) turned on for 20 - 30 seconds, the
alarm will be in arm mode.
• The green status LED (6) will turn off and the red status LED (8) will
start flashing.
d) Triggering mode
• If any intruder or warm object enter the detecting area during arm
mode, the alarm will be triggered. There is a delay for 10 - 15
seconds before the alarm goes off.
• To reset false alarm press the button (3) before the alarm goes off.
The alarm will return to stand-by mode.
• Otherwise, a audio warning signal will be generated. The red status
LED (8) will remain turned on. The alert will last for 40 - 50 seconds
before the main unit reset automatically to stand-by mode.
• Press the button (3) to stop the audio warning signal manually.
In case of longer power interruptions and decreasing voltage of the backup
batteries, the alarm will be activated as followed if the voltage of the backup
batteries is between 4.0 V and 6.0 V (normal voltage): In activation mode, the
alarm gets activated and the red LED lights up. After approx. 45 seconds the alarm
turns off automatically.
Point the remote control transmitter (1) directly towards the remote signal
receiver (4) within 6m and 30º.
Remote control status LED (2) lights up to indicate signal is transmitting from the
remote control.
Maintenance and cleaning
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions as they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Never submerge the product in water.
• There are no components located inside the product you need to maintain. Never open/
dismantle the product.
• To clean the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. Do not apply too much pressure
to the housing to prevent scratching.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household
waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.
b) Batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/
rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable)
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality,
our stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
