• After rapid changes in temperature, the camera needs some
time to adjust to the surrounding temperature. Allow the
components to adjust to the surrounding temperature before
using them.
• The system components are no toys and should be kept out
of the reach of children!
• Please contact a qualified expert if you are not sure about the
safety or the correct use of the system components.
• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended.
Plastic foil/bags etc. can become dangerous toys for chil-
dren, there is risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer
possible, disconnect the device immediately and secure it
against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device shows visible damage
- the device no longer functions
- the device has been stored under unfavourable conditions
for a longer period of time or
- following considerable stress during transportation.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regula-
tions of the Employer’s Liability Insurance Association for
Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to be
observed.
• The wall power supply may never be plugged in or unplugged
with wet hands.
• Never pull on the cables of the wall power supply. Always pull
the wall power supply out of the socket by the housing.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the wall power supply from
the mains socket in case of a thunderstorm.
• The system components must mot get damp or wet. They are
intended for dry indoor use only.
• Make sure no magnetic or electromagnetic fields or heat
sources are in the vicinity of the surveillance camera or the
wall power supply.
